Until January 2010 tennis tipsters have been recruited by direct invitation only: we used to surf the net and monitor profitable guys before approaching them to offer a paid job with us.
We have now changed this and we have introduced a trail for tennis as well. This is mainly because the older way brought very good results and tipsters in the past, but it did not prove to be good enough when recruiting new guys now that we are fastly expanding into this market.
Tennis is pretty complicated for us for the following reasons:
- Odds move a lot
- We already some guys who cover it brilliantly.
- Limits are very low till 2-3 hours before the start of the match.
Trialists will need to send picks following the below rules and also considering that picks on tennis are only allowed if limits are at least 1500 usd.
This means that when a trialist wants to send in a pick for his trial, he has to make sure the above limit is available. For this reason, of course, no European bookmakers are allowed. Odds from Pinnaclesports and Betfair (commission deducted, we will consider 5%). When we receive the picks, we also check odds availability and limits, so cheating is nothing particularly clever.
For tennis the number we look at the most is still yield (ROI), and there are a few simple rules for the trial:
- Picks on game handicap, set handicap*, over/under lines and money line.
- ATP and WTA allowed. No doubles matches allowed.
- Odds from Pinnaclesports and Betfair only.
- Stake can be from 1 to 10 units or flat.
- a preview (even if short) has to be provided with all picks.
* Due to limits issue set handicap is only allowed when going against 2 sets to 0 for the favourite, benerraly laying it on betfair, where money offered has to respect the above 1500 usd limit.
